At Surfing with Rudy, we’re more than just a surf school — we’re a local and sustainable project born from a deep love for the ocean, nature, and the joy of sharing waves. 🌴
✨ Our mission: help travelers and surf seekers enjoy the best waves, discover the most beautiful beaches around Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita, Sayulita, and beyond — guided by locals who truly know and love this coastline.
🗓️ Since 2015, we’ve been riding and sharing waves with visitors from all over the world — and we still enjoy every session like it’s our first.
Meet Rudy
The heart & soul of Surfing with Rudy
Born and raised in Puerto Vallarta (1991), Rudy has over 17 years of surfing experience 🌍 — having chased waves across Asia, Europe, and Latin America. But his favorite waves? 🌊 The biggest ones out there.
Rudy has been teaching for 8+ years, and what he loves most is that every student/surfer is different, every wave is a new challenge, and every session is a chance to create a connection. 💙
Whether it’s helping a beginner catch their first wave 🏄♀️ or guiding experienced surfers to secret spots 🌴, Rudy brings energy, passion, and deep local knowledge to every session.

Time to hit the water 🌊! Catch your first waves or improve your skills with Rudy’s personalized coaching on one of Puerto Vallarta’s safest and most family-friendly beaches.
4. Relax & enjoy
Take a break, soak up the sun, snap some photos 📸, and share your first surf impressions.
5. Return & lunch option
Head back to the meeting point, or enjoy an optional lunch in a local spot 🍴 (lunch not included).
